American Girl Adventure | Mall of America | Bloomington, Minnesota

It’s not very often that we get to have a guest blogger with us. But this evening my daughter Tashina will be sharing her story about her thoughts and feelings when she got to go to the American Girl store in the Mall of America this past summer. So be sure to share some love and check out her Blog and images we captured along the way. ❤

Hello! My name is Tashina I am 10 years and love American Girl. Last summer I got to go to Mall of America when I was out in Minnesota for my family reunion. But before we flew out to Minnesota I worked hard saving up money. I did lots of lemonade stands with my friends in my neighborhood, daily chores around my home, and even went to my Aunt Connie’s to help her in any way I could. I ended up saving $107 so I could go to The American Girl store. (but i asked my Dad to hold on to it for me so I would not lose my money on the way there)

The day came to go to the Mall of America and I went with my family and friends (Mom, Dad, my Brother, Aunt Angel, Wesley, Lucas, & Pam).

While I was there I made sure to bring with me my favorite American Girl doll. Her name is Isabelle and she was the 2014 girl of the year. I decided to let Isabelle go to the salon there. She was very much in need of a new hair style. I was a little scared to leave her there alone but I thought to myself, “They are professionals. Nothing to worry about.” I let her get her hair done up with a braid and blue ribbon, as well as let her get her ears pierced with silver and blue studs. So while I left Isabelle in capable hands I went to look around the store with my Mom and Dad. I ended up buying her a hairbrush and a cute pair of two tone sunglasses. And she even got extra set of earrings to go with the ones she just got pierced. I thought Isabelle would like that! After I was all done exploring the store I went to pick Isabelle up. SHE WAS PERFECT! And I was so happy to see she was well taken care of.

My family and friends surprised me with a chance to go to the American Girl Bistro too. It was something I always wanted to do but didn’t think we had time. I got to get a cotton-candy milkshake, mini blueberry muffins with yogurt and a fruit bowl. I even got to try some mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites my Aunt Angel got too.

I had so much fun! And don’t say anything but from these pictures I think my brother and the boys had fun too, lol.

I can’t wait to go back again soon!
